JANUARY

Georgia Young

 

Georgia has, this season, changed her playing position and by training with total commitment and enthusiasm she has become a key player in defence, proving her adaptability to taking on a new position and at the same time has showed great confidence in her leadership skills within her team unit. 
FEBRUARY

Megan Simmons

 

Megan shows 100% commitment to club in her training and playing capacity. Always positive and supportive when encouraging new club players and fellow squad members as she strives to be the best she can be. Has a fun loving personality, happy go lucky approach and for being the  “Queen of Apologies” ​

MARCH

Cerys Seal

Cerys always trains and plays to the best of her ability, she is hard working and always has a desire to win. A great listener, she takes new ideas on board from her coaches and tries relentlessly to put them into practice. Cerys is consistently improving with a never give up attitude as she learns to compete in the game of netball, she is a solid team player. 

APRIL

Renee Austin

 

Renee has worked hard all season and shown great dedication to her club. She has improved dramatically and has moved steadily through the county levels. She was a key player in this years U14 County 1st team and made her mark at this years County festival where she was scouted to attend the England Netball Regional Academy programme .

MAY

Kate Norton

 

Kate has improved enormously over the last year. Always motivated, always a tough battler, never showing signs of defeat, never complaining. She always shouts for her team mates and encourages others. She is a super defence front court player and has worked hard in the u14 county squad who won a coveted place in this years National Championship finals.

JUNE

Emily Rees

 

 

 

Emily has been a long standing member of Telstars who’s given this award for her perseverance in Netball

Despite disappointment in her England pathway career she lifted her head and  forged ahead with her play.  She always makes herself available to play in any team asked and always enthusiastic in her play.  Not always playing glamorously (we always know when she’s on the court, sometimes vertical, sometimes horizontal)  but always with a smile… Well done Emily

 

SEPTEMBER

Aneesha Patel

Aneesha Always trains and plays to the best of her ability, she is hard working and always has a desire to win. A great listener, she takes new ideas on board from her coaches and puts them into practice. Aneesha never gives up, very rarely misses a match or training session and is a totally committed and loyal member of Telstars NC.

OCTOBER

Judi Kasem

Judi has improved greatly since joining Telstars as a complete netball novice. Always motivated, always a tough battler, never showing signs of defeat, never complaining and a very kind sympathetic nature. She always shouts for her team mates and encourages others. Judi is a great person to have in your team both on and off the court
NOVEMBER

Emily Donaldson

Emily worked exceptionally well this year and has improved hugely in her netball. She is a very committed player and has trained hard. As a result of her hard work, she was nominated to attend Kent u14 trials this week…and was successful in gaining a place in the u14 Kent Academy Performance Programme.
