Saffron is quite a new member at Telstars and the award was given in admiration of Saffron’s transition to a higher level of netball. She has been totally committed to the philosophy of the club and her hard work, training ethic and her amenable demeaner and receptiveness to advice and guidance from her peers have made her an integral part of the club already.  Her desire to do the best for the club and her team is admirable.

Jess is always full of energy and has such a fun loving personality. She never stops trying and always strives to improve even if its with a laugh. She’s a team player both on and off the court and her continuous support from the bench for the team is highly commendable, she is a credit to the team and club.

SEPTEMBER

Britney Clarke

Britney has worked tirelessly and shown great dedication to her club & her netball. She has moved steadily through county and regional level and has recently as still an u19 player trialled for Surrey Storm u21s for the 2nd season and succeeded in retaining her place. She is now a key player in this year’s senior squads and made her Premier League debut this season and by winning player of the match on only her 2nd appearance she certainly has made a mark at the next level of elite play. Britney is a team player who encourages and motivates her team mates and supports both whilst playing and from the side-lines. She is always genuinely pleased for the other players when they do well and always keeps battling. Huge congratulations Britney – Telstars is lucky to have you as a member.

OCTOBER

Jess Haynes

Jess has been our most successful young player to date at Telstars. She has been a member of the Pulse u19 squad for the last 2 years. Jess has dedicated herself to improving and works tirelessly to be the best she can be, so it was no surprise when her endeavours were rewarded this summer when she was finally selected to tour to Australia with the England Roses U17 squad in September 2018. Well done Jess – all that hard work was rewarded at last.
