Natasha has worked extremely hard on her overall fitness, netball skills for which have improved tremendously. Her sheer hard work and determination to improve and Natasha’s total commitment to her netball, has been rewarded this year by being selected to train in the Kent High Performance Academy as part of the EN Performance Pathway programme. Natasha is a good club member and supports her team both on and off the court and for these attributes has seen her named as Captain for Telstars u14 Couny Squad this season. Well done Natasha
Jess has been our most successful young player to date at Telstars. She has been a member of the Pulse u19 squad for the last 2 years. Jess has dedicated herself to improving and works tirelessly to be the best she can be, so it was no surprise when her endeavours were rewarded this summer when she was finally selected to tour to Australia with the England Roses U17 squad in September 2018. Well done Jess – all that hard work was rewarded at last.
Britney has worked tirelessly and shown great dedication to her club & her netball. She has moved steadily through county and regional level and has recently as still an u19 player trialled for Surrey Storm u21s for the 2nd season and succeeded in retaining her place. She is now a key player in this year’s senior squads and made her Premier League debut this season and by winning player of the match on only her 2nd appearance she certainly has made a mark at the next level of elite play. Britney is a team player who encourages and motivates her team mates and supports both whilst playing and from the side-lines. She is always genuinely pleased for the other players when they do well and always keeps battling. Huge congratulations Britney – Telstars is lucky to have you as a member.
Jess is always full of energy and has such a fun loving personality. She never stops trying and always strives to improve even if its with a laugh. She’s a team player both on and off the court and her continuous support from the bench for the team is highly commendable, she is a credit to the team and club
Through continuous hard work Rose has shown great improvement in her netball and has proved to be a valuable team member which has this year seen her awarded promotion to the Senior squad. Rose also volunteers on a weekly basis to help coach younger club members at training.
Saffron is quite a new member at Telstars and the award was given in admiration of Saffron’s transition to a higher level of netball. She has been totally committed to the philosophy of the club and her hard work, training ethic and her amenable demeaner and receptiveness to advice and guidance from her peers have made her an integral part of the club already. Her desire to do the best for the club and her team is admirable.
Kyla has improved greatly over the last year. Always motivated, always a tough battler, never showing signs of defeat, never complaining and hugely committed to her club netball and plays to the best of her ability. She always shouts for her team mates and encourages others. She is a super mid court player which has seen Kyla achieve a coveted place in the Kent Netball u12 Academy which forms part of the England Netball’s Talent pathway.
Emily always trains and plays to the best of her ability, she is hard working and always has a desire to win which comes with a huge commitment to club netball. A great listener, she takes new ideas on board from her coaches and puts them into practice. She always shouts for her team mates and encourages others. Emily’s hard work has seen her achieve a coveted place in the Kent Netball u12 Academy which forms part of the England Netball’s Talent pathway.
Emma has shown great improvement in her netball this season and as a result has gained a really good understanding of the game, which recently has shown her take a huge interest in helping coach younger members at training on a weekly basis. As a result of her voluntary work we have nominated Emma to now apply to take the UKCC Level 1 (Assistant Coach). Well done Emma and thank you for all your help with the juniors
