Banita is attentive at all times and takes on board her coach’s instructions, she works tirelessly to implement what has been said and is not afraid to ask questions. This personal approach has improved her knowledge of the game in all aspects of positional play. Banita is also a very reliable and committed team member with a very high work ethic giving 100% in both training and her matches. Excellent work, a well deserved reward for all your hard work Banita. Well done

Fayo has worked extremely hard on her netball skills this season and for which have improved tremendously. Her sheer hard work and determination to improve and Fayo’s total commitment to her netball is worthy of a mention. Fayo is a good club member and supports her team both on and off the court, all this was rewarded this year by her being selected to train in the higher age group level Yr7, to which she has responded admirably. Well done Fayo - Keep up the good work.

Ruby Edward Ruby has shown huge commitment to the club by encouraging and supporting her fellow team mates both on and off the court, making Ruby a solid team player. On a personal level Ruby has worked tirelessly and persevered with her training and is now a key member of the Telstars U16 squad. This year being a COVID pandemic year Ruby along with Millie expressed an interest in helping coach younger members at the club as a volunteer. As a result Ruby has now applied to take the UKCC Level 1 (Assistant Coach) which will entail helping our Junior Head Coach with the younger members at Telstars . Well done Ruby many thanks for your further offer of help with the juniors.

Millie Thompson.

Millie has shown huge improvement in her netball this season and as a result has gained a really good understanding of the game, works tirelessly to improve her shooting prowess to reward her team of gaining the ultimate shot to win the game. This year being a COVID pandemic year Millie has expressed an interest in helping coach younger members at the club as a volunteer. As a result Millie has now applied to take the UKCC Level 1 (Assistant Coach) which will entail helping our Junior Head Coach with the younger members at Telstars . Well done Millie and thank you for all your offer of help with the juniors

Saskia Hobbs Saskia is relatively new member at Telstars, the award was given in admiration of Saskia’s transition to a higher level of netball. She has been totally committed to the philosophy of the club, her hard work, training ethic and her amenable demeaner with a receptiveness to advice and guidance from her peers have already made her an integral part of the club. Her desire to do the best for the club and her team is admirable.

Nicole Riley Nicole has received this months’ award for showing complete kindness and a friendly approach to welcoming new players into her age group. Nicole has a very welcoming nature and goes out of her way to ensure new players feel included when they first arrive at Telstars, this combined with her own total commitment to work hard at training and improve her netball makes her a solid team player and good captain material for the future. Well done Nicole …thank you for being so friendly - keep up the good work.
